Shinnosuke Kobayashi

Ski Instruction • Alpine Racing
Born in Sugadaira Kogen, Japan's racing ski mecca, Shinnosuke has been immersed in alpine racing since early childhood. At 18, he competed in FIS races across Europe. After returning to Japan, he worked at racing ski schools in both Sugadaira Kogen and Hakuba. In 2021, he founded his own racing-focused ski school at Hakuba Happo-one, which he continues to operate today.

Kotomi's warm personality and patient teaching style have made her the favorite instructor among families and beginners. Certified as an instructor by the Ski Association of Japan, she specializes in building confidence through progressive skill development. She enjoys overwhelming popularity among families and children. While her exceptional ski teaching skills are a given, her true gift lies in ensuring young children never develop a fear of skiing, instead guiding them to genuinely love the sport.
